Le Treport is a small seaport 25 kms NE of Dieppe. The cemetery is 1.5kms S of the town on the road D940. During WW1 Le Treport was an important hospital centre and by July 1916, the town contained 3 general hospitals. All the hospitals were closed by March 1919. There are 2,128 Commonwealth WW1 graves and 7 from WW2. The cemetery also contains more than 200 German war graves. The cemetery was designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield.

1841 Census: Boyers? Alley, Deptford: 60 year old Baker, not born in Kent with the N crossed out twice and then there is a mark in the column for "Whether born in another country" but it is illegible and covered by the spine of the book on the microfilm.
Possible Death recorded on FreeBMD 3q 1843 Greenwich 5 141. I later saw a copy of this burial record and it is for an Alexander Miller of Giffin Street aged 6 weeks. No record of parents but obviously belongs to our family since they lived in Giffin Street.
